How should we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in 2021?

2021: a second consecutive year without being able to celebrate the long-awaited St. Patrick’s Day the way we would like. Bad luck or deliverance? Maybe both, but the important thing is that COVID will not stop us from enjoying Ireland’s most festive date whether it be online or at home with friends, respecting the restrictions of the lockdown we are currently experiencing.

LET’S DO THIS!

We have put together some ideas for you to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in 2021 wherever you are! We hope you like them and choose one of these suggestions 😉

  1. ST. PATRICK’S DAY FESTIVAL

This year the St. Patrick’s Festival will take place online with several events for you to follow! The theme of the year is “Dúisigh Éire! Awaken Ireland!”

“We invite you to throw off the long, dark months and rise to embrace the brighter days ahead.” – says the festival website.

The festivities will take place between the 12th and 17th of March. You can find more than 100 activities on the site, no matter where you are in the world!

  1. PREPARE AN ORIGINAL IRISH RECIPE!

There is no shortage of food at the party! Enjoy the atmosphere of St. Patrick’s Day and prepare an Irish recipe to match this special date! We found some that you can start preparing now!

  1. WEAR GREEN CLOTHES AND ‘GREEN’ YOUR BEER

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at home doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t dress for the occasion! Don’t worry, you don’t need to dress up as Leprechaun. The important thing is to wear green! T-shirt, dress, socks, hat, or maybe accessories that can easily be found in any of the stores currently open.

Come on, let’s do it! Even at a time when almost everything is virtual, and it’s not possible to get out on the street, we still have to celebrate! Last but not least, prepare a special green beer that we taught you how to make in the video above, in topic 2.

We wish you all a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day with lots of joy, high spirits, delicious food and good drink!

CHEERS!
