Author: Patricia Costa Freire

I was born in a very small city in the Northern in Brazil, where playing football on the streets and studying English by myself was my main pass-time. After having moved to São Paulo, things changed a lot as you can imagine. There I became a Journalist and I worked for more than 5 years for a non-profit organization, where I developed and enhanced my communication skills. Working on content editing for online and offline publishing, I became even more passionate about communication and felt an increase interest in Marketing & Social Media. I am so curious about this whole new Digital Transformation that I cannot help, but studying them. I am eager to learn and apply all the possible knowledge to help people’s life. Leaving Brazil to improve my English skills in Ireland was a dream come true. Ireland and its wonders have broadened my horizons immeasurably. I am in love with this Irish multiculturalism, its people, culinary, and nature. Here I can talk and live with people originated from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, which enables me to discover a different world every day. Being someone who came from such far-flung place, yes, I considered myself very successful and blessed! Keep with me to discover the next episodes!

Tip of the Week

Pull the Wool over other people`s eyes
See eye to eye
Speak of the devil
Take with a grain of salt
Taste of your own medicine
Wouldn`t be caught dead
Your guess is as good as mine
To hear something straight from the horse`s mouth
When to use AT, In and ON
